Investigation into the murder of a 25-year-old gym trainer, Nandan, within the jurisdiction of the Amruthahalli Police Station on Saturday night has intensified, with the preliminary probe pointing to heavy consumption of drugs and alcohol, an alleged sexual assault attempt, and a violent confrontation during a gym anniversary party.

Nandan was working as a personal gym trainer for Anush Shetty, who had organised an anniversary party at his flat in Kempapura and had invited Nandan and four other trainers from the gym.

According to police sources, those present at the party allegedly consumed drugs and alcohol in large quantities.
