BENGALURU: What began as a celebration to mark a gym’s first anniversary ended in tragedy, with a 25-year-old trainer allegedly assaulted to death following a quarrel among a group of trainers at a flat in Kempapura. Police have arrested three accused in connection with the death.The deceased, M Nandan, was a resident of Jakkur Layout. The accused named in a complaint filed by Nandan’s mother, Manjula, are Vishwanath, 22, Sharath, 27, Nishanth, 24 and Anush.Nandan, who was an only child, is survived by his mother and father, Mahendra, who works as a mason. Nandan was employed as a gym trainer at Masiv Fitness in Sahakaranagar for the last one year.According to the complaint, after the gym celebrations ended, Nandan, along with three accused, went to the residence of Anush, a trainee under Vishwanath.
