NEW DELHI: An FIR has been registered against a BJP Booth Level Agent (BLA) for allegedly filing "false" Form-7 applications seeking the deletion of 30 voters from the electoral rolls during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR).The case is the first FIR registered in Telangana over allegations of submitting Form-7 applications containing "false" information, news agency PTI reported.The FIR was registered at Chikkadapally Police Station against BJP BLA S Balachander following a complaint by an election official. Police have invoked relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Representation of the People Act."Following a complaint that the BLA submitted forms for deletion of 30 electors, we have registered an FIR.
