Air India, AI Express hike fuel surcharge amid rising costs; Akasa Air reinstates levy
Major Indian airlines including Air India, Air India Express, and Akasa Air have increased or reintroduced fuel surcharges on domestic and international flights. The hikes are attributed to rising Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) costs driven by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
