About Headlinne

News that adapts to you.

Headlinne is an AI-powered personalized news platform designed to make staying informed faster, smarter, and more relevant to every individual user.

Traditional news platforms often treat every user the same, showing identical headlines, repetitive stories, and overwhelming feeds that quickly become noisy and irrelevant.

Headlinne changes that by creating a personalized news experience tailored specifically to each individual user.

The platform uses an intuitive swipe-based interface where users can:

  • Swipe left to skip
  • Swipe right to like
  • Swipe up to read more

Every article card includes:

  • Concise AI-generated summaries
  • AI-generated “Why This Matters” insights
  • Topic categorization
  • Links to the original publisher
  • AI-assisted bias analysis

As users interact with articles, Headlinne’s recommendation engine continuously learns from behavior patterns to create an increasingly relevant and adaptive news feed.

By combining artificial intelligence, behavioral recommendation systems, and modern interaction design, Headlinne aims to make news consumption feel less overwhelming and significantly more useful.

The Mascot

Meet Pip

Headlinne's guide — 838 bytes of him, and not a line of JavaScript.

Pip is the small orange bird you will meet across Headlinne. He is drawn as pixel art: a 26 × 22 grid, hand-placed pixel by pixel, scaled up crisply rather than smoothed.

His job is deliberately narrow. Pip explains how the product works — how swiping teaches your feed, what a Deep Dive is doing while you wait — and he stays out of the journalism entirely. He never writes, summarises, or reacts to a news story. Those are jobs for the analysis pipeline, and they are labelled where they appear.

He has a small vocabulary of expressions, and each one means something specific:

  • Working on it
  • Reading
  • Look at this
  • A question
  • All done
  • Celebrating

He also respects your system's reduced-motion setting: with that enabled he holds still, and the purely decorative appearances are removed rather than frozen mid-step.
