Samsung Launches Early Holiday Discounts on Gaming Monitors and Television Sets

Samsung has initiated a series of early Black Friday discounts on its gaming monitors, televisions, and storage hardware, offering consumers reduced prices ahead of the traditional holiday shopping season.

The 27-inch Odyssey OLED G5 gaming monitor is currently priced at $329.99, marking a $170 reduction from its standard retail cost.

The 27-inch Odyssey G80HF 5K monitor is also available for $599.99 at Amazon and B&H Photo, a price point that represents a $100 discount from its previous best offer.

These promotions provide shoppers with extended time to secure holiday gifts while retailers attempt to capture early consumer interest before the peak shopping period begins next month.

Television models, including the 65-inch Class S85H Series OLED 4K TV, are seeing price cuts of up to $300, according to Mashable.

Samsung's Frame and Frame Pro art televisions are also included in the current sales cycle, with the smallest 55-inch Frame Pro model retailing for $1,098.

Wired reported that the entry-level version of The Frame is currently priced at $898, which is $100 lower than its Prime Day cost and represents the lowest price ever for that model.

The Verge noted that the G80HF monitor supports two display modes, including 5K at a 180Hz refresh rate or 1440p at a 360Hz refresh rate, alongside Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility.

While some analysts suggest waiting for further price drops during Black Friday, others view the current discounts as a reliable opportunity to purchase hardware.

It is not yet clear whether retailers will implement deeper discounts as the official Black Friday date approaches next month.
