The Duchess of Sussex will appear on television in Australia next year as a special guest and co-host on a rebooted season of Junior MasterChef Australia, according to network announcements.
Network 10 stated that the competitive cooking program featuring contestants aged eight to 12 will air in 2027 after a hiatus, with filming scheduled to take place in Melbourne.
The television project follows the return of Prince Harry and Meghan to the United Kingdom in August after living in the United States for several years.
Network officials said the duchess will appear alongside regular host Poh Ling Yeow to guide young culinary participants.

Meghan described her decision to join the program as an easy choice following a guest appearance on the adult version of the competition earlier this year.
"When they approached me to come back and work with this young group of talent, it was an easy yes," said Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, in a statement.
"I love cooking with my own kids, so seeing what these young stars create in the kitchen is going to be a lot of fun," said Meghan.
Yeow expressed enthusiasm about working alongside the duchess again following their previous collaboration on the set earlier this year.
"I had a lovely time filming with Meghan earlier this year, and being reunited will be a real treat," said Poh Ling Yeow, the television host.

Reports differed regarding the nature of the duchess's involvement, with 1News and ABC News reporting she will serve as a co-host, while Yahoo reported she will appear as a special guest.
Publications also conflicted on the age bracket for the contestants, with 1News and Yahoo citing ages eight to 12, while The Guardian reported contestants range from nine to 13 years old.
Accounts regarding the family's living arrangements during production also varied, as Yahoo reported the family will not relocate for the filming, while 1News stated the children may join her.
Production on the program is scheduled to begin after Christmas, with the finished episodes broadcast on Network 10.
