Zelenskyy visits North Bay, Ont.

Zelenskyy had a private tour of the Test Pilot School, which public documents show has a contract to train 80 Ukrainians fighter pilots by 2029.

Dozens of supporters, including Ukrainians living in North Bay, came to the airport to greet the president.

Nadiia Stukalova, who immigrated from Ukraine to Canada with her family in 2021, told CBC News in advance of Zelenskyy’s visit that the trip brings hope for her homeland.
