Zaniolo out of Italy squad for Nations League games

Udinese man Nicolò Zaniolo has left the Italy training camp due to an injury, so will not feature in Nations League games against Turkiye or France .

The forward had been one of the strong candidates to start in last night's 2-0 home defeat to Belgium at the Stadio Olimpico.

Instead, a fitness issue saw him left in the stands, not even ready for a spot on the bench.
