Yuno Energy to freeze prices until next year

Agriculture & Consumer Affairs Correspondent
Yuno Energy has said it is freezing prices for its 100,000 electricity and gas customers this winter.
The move means the supplier's customers will not see a price increase until next March at the earliest.
However, Yuno hiked its prices by 9.5% for electricity and by 11% for gas in July - increases that added around €168 to an average household's annual electricity bill, and roughly €156 to yearly gas bills.
Commenting on the freeze, Yuno Energy's managing director Margaret O'Connor said: "We know energy costs are a real concern for households, particularly heading into winter, so we want to reassure customers that they won’t face price increases from us."
