KUALA LUMPUR: YTL Power International Bhd and JLand Group have announced a strategic partnership to undertake a joint development at Sede- nak Tech Park West in Johor, which will include a new gigawatt-scale data centre campus.

The strategic partnership involves JLand Group, through its subsidiary JLG Technopark Sdn Bhd, and YTL Power International, through its subsidiary SIPP Power Sdn Bhd.

“As part of the arrangement, SIPP Power will acquire approximately 58.6ha within Sedenak Tech Park West, with an option to acquire up to a further 162ha for future expansion, potentially bringing the campus footprint to approximately 220ha,” said both parties in a joint statement yesterday.
