YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) women wing State General Secretary Kolagatla Sravani on Wednesday demanded the police department and government to tender an “unconditional apology” to former Deputy Chief Minister Pushpa Srivani alleging that police constables “intentionally misbehaved” with her in Visakhapatnam.
She said that the ghastly incident had shocked every women and men in the State as the police’s high handedness went viral on social media. She asked the government to cancel the decision over the closure of Marikavalasa residential school where nearly 600 tribal children were studying.
