YSRCP leaders and activists staged protests across Rayalaseema region on Thursday demanding the resignation of Minister for Education, Nara Lokesh, owning ‘moral responsibility’ for the alleged irregularities in the DSC-2025 recruitment exam, besides seeking CBI probe into the episode.
In Nellore, the party launched relay hunger strike at VRC Centre, which was led by East Rayalaseema (Teachers) MLC Parvathareddy Chandra Sekhar Reddy. Mr. Reddy, who has been the party’s voice over the sensational issue for a year, hogged the limelight when he filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking CBI probe into the Mega DSC 2025 teacher recruitment process.
The party dubbed the four-day relay hunger strike as ‘AP Gen Z war’, trying to equate it with the anti-NEET protests that rocked Jantar Mantar in New Delhi recently.
