YSRCP leader urges public to question TDP over election promises

Former Minister and Punganur MLA Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy urged the public to compare the erstwhile YSRCP regime with the present NDA alliance government in order to understand the welfare-oriented governance offered in the past.

Addressing a coordination meeting with constituency-in-charge leaders of undivided Chittoor district here on Sunday ahead of the local body elections, the MLA flayed the present government for just ‘tall talk and no action’. He urged the public to question the TDP-led regime for failing to fulfil its promises made ahead of the elections.

Referring to the ‘Chalo Vijayawada’ call given by ward and village secretariat employees, Mr. Ramachandra Reddy said his party would extend total support to the agitating employees. He accused the ruling party of unleashing police force on the opposition cadre and intimidating the agitating employees, and said the party workers would not be cowed down by such tactics.
