YSRCP demands Lokesh’s resignation over ‘DSC-2025 recruitment scam’

Anantapur district YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders on Friday (July 31, 2026) demanded a comprehensive enquiry into the alleged DSC-2025 recruitment process and immediate dismissal of Education Minister Nara Lokesh.
Led by district party president Anantha Venkatarami Reddy, a delegation of party leaders met with Joint Collector Vishnu Charan and submitted documents and videos as evidence of alleged irregularities that occurred in the recruitment process.
Later, addressing the media, Mr. Venkatarami Reddy said that securing a government job is the dream of the youth, but Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Mr. Lokesh have shattered that dream by conducting a fraudulent DSC recruitment drive under the guise of Mega DSC.
“Eligible candidates were sidelined and jobs were given to ineligible ones,” he alleged. He said Mr. Lokesh, instead of accepting the facts and stepping down, is making empty challenges for a debate.
