The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) demanded that the State government order a CBI inquiry into the alleged irregularities in DSC-2025, and said that the party was ready for a similar probe into the Group-1 examinations conducted during its tenure.
Addressing the press at the Assembly media point on Monday (August 17, 2026), Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council and YSRCP leader Botcha Satyanarayana alleged that Education Minister Nara Lokesh had failed to provide clear answers to questions raised over the DSC recruitment process. “We are ready for a CBI inquiry into Group-I. Are you ready for a CBI inquiry into DSC?” he asked, challenging the government to accept an independent investigation into the alleged irregularities.
