YouTuber Rajan Joseph was arrested from Kochi on Saturday night (July 11) by the Adoor Police for allegedly posting defamatory content against Congress leader and Pathanamthitta district panchayat member Sreenadevi Kunjamma.
Ms. Kunjamma had earlier quit the CPI and joined the Congress.
The police registered an FIR against Mr. Joseph on June 4, invoking non-bailable charges, following which he reportedly absconded. After his arrest in Kochi, he was taken to Adoor, where he is to be produced before the magistrate.
