YouTuber A. Rama Nandana was detained by immigration authorities at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on Monday (September 07) following the issuance of a lookout notice against her by the Andhra Pradesh police. Ms. Nandana, who arrived from the United Kingdom at the RGIA on Monday, was known through her channel ‘Nandu’s World’.
She was detained by immigration officials and held at the Outpost police station at RGIA until a police team from Ibrahimpatnam in Andhra Pradesh arrived. The police team served her a notice directing her to appear before them for questioning, according to an officer from the RGIA Outpost police.
Ms. Nandana, along with her husband J. Madhukar, is accused of allegedly collecting large sums of money from several people by promising to arrange jobs and sponsorships in London, United Kingdom.
