Highlighting the life and lifestyle of the late APJ Abdul Kalam, Inspector General of Police (south zone) Vijayendra Bidari explained how the former President pursued and achieved his goals.
Speaking at the 31st annual Sports Day at the Sethu Institute of Technology, he referred to the success of Google’s Sundar Pitchai and said that youngsters can achieve whatever goal they aspire to in their lives.
Discipline, he said, was very important for achieving success. It is a strong foundation in the society.
In Japan, although there are no dustbins, people properly disposed of their waste and keep their surroundings clean. This reflects their culture and sense of responsibility, Mr Bidari said and added “We should understand and respect the value of other people’s time. Respect your own time as well. Every minute is valuable. If we use every minute properly, we can achieve greater goals in life.”
