Peshawar - Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi on Wednesday said that youth are the nation's most valuable asset and the guarantors of Pakistan's future. He said that progress or decline of any country is ultimately determined by the quality of its leadership, public policy and governance.
Addressing the convocation of the University of Peshawar, the Chief Minister said while Pakistan is endowed with abundant natural resources, a talented workforce and one of the world's youngest populations, decades of flawed policymaking, maladministration, inefficient utilisation of national resources and the prioritisation of personal interests over the public good have resulted in serious economic, administrative and political challenges.
