Youth murdered by friends over obscene messages in Chennai’s Mangadu
Police in Chennai have arrested two men for the murder of a 20-year-old youth named Yuvanesh. The suspects confessed to the crime, claiming they killed him because he sent inappropriate messages to one of their girlfriends.

A senior officer of the Avadi police Commissionerate said, on Saturday, Yuvanesh, a resident of Mangadu, was found dead in a well with his body tied to a heavy stone. Based on the complaint filed by one of his parents, the Mangadu police filed a murder case.
Following investigation, the police arrested his two friends Devadhayalan alias Vicky and Parthiban in connection with the murder. The duo allegedly confessed to the police that they murdered Yuvanesh as he sent obscene messages and images to Devadhayalan’s girlfriend.
