A private electrician, K. Bharat Kumar (19), died of electrocution while connecting electric cables during Vinayaka idol immersion in Jinkapalem village, Nagayalanka mandal in Krishna district.

A native of Nali village, Mr. Kumar, collapsed while giving connection to the sound system to the DJ machine on Friday (September 18, 2026). Locals shifted him to Avanigadda Community Health Centre, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
