Protesting the rising number of accidents and deaths on National Highway 66, the Youth Congress units of the Nattika and Kaipamangalam Assembly constituencies in Thrissur organised a coffin march at Nattika on Wednesday (September 9, 2026).
The march was inaugurated by District Congress Committee (DCC) general secretary Shobha Subin. As part of the protest, Youth Congress activists also distributed warning cards to motorists, urging travellers to exercise caution while using the accident-prone highway.
