DAR ES SALAAM:YOUNG Tanzanian swimmers will receive training services from internationally experienced coach, Ben Lee, under a new three-week programme aimed at raising the country’s swimming standards by developing athletes, coaches and parents.
The Tanzania Performance Development Series 2026, organised by RaceBetter in partnership with Monti AquaForce, will run from 28 July to 14 August at Monti International School in Dar es Salaam.
Organisers say the initiative marks the start of a long-term partnership to strengthen swimming in Tanzania by combining international expertise with local coaching and creating pathways from grassroots participation to elite competition.
The programme opens with a three-day workshop for swimming coaches, teachers and club leaders, followed by three agebased training camps for young swimmers aged six and above.
