A young man has died in hospital days after he was left critically injured at a house party. Police were called to a short stay accommodation on Discovery Boulevard in Bahrs Scrub, Logan, south of Brisbane about 2.15am on July 26 after reports of a wild party that had spilled out onto the streets. Significant damage was caused to a number of cars on the street, as well as damage to a neighbouring home. Police said when they arrived, members of the large group fled the scene, however, a 21-year-old Redbank Plains man was found nearby on Orchard Ave with significant head injuries. Paramedics rushed the young man to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition where he died several days later on Saturday.
