Afrobeats star, Davido and former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad on Thursday engaged in a war of words on X. Daily Sun reports that the disagreement started over the contentious freezing of the Osun State Government’s bank account by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Davido had taken to X to reveal he was present when President Bola Tinubu called Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke over the matter. “I was there live! I witnessed history,” Davido, the governor’s nephew, wrote. Reacting, Ahmad urged Davido to accept the result of the forthcoming governorship election, in which his uncle is the Accord Party candidate, with equanimity irrespective of its outcome. “This tweet is bookmarked.
