'You might have saved a life': Driver spots elderly man walking on AYE, brings him to safety
A driver in Singapore is being praised for rescuing an elderly man found walking on the Ayer Rajah Expressway. The driver later expressed regret for dropping the man off at a bus stop instead of ensuring he was safe with authorities.

A driver has earned praise online for bringing an elderly man to safety after spotting him walking along the first lane of the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE).
Dashcam footage of the incident was uploaded to the Roads.sg Instagram page on Wednesday (Sep 2) and had garnered over 50,000 views as at Thursday afternoon.
In the video, the driver said he was travelling along the AYE when he noticed an elderly man walking near the road divider beside the first lane of the expressway.
The man was seen using an umbrella as a walking stick as he slowly made his way against the flow of traffic.
"I was worried and thought I should U-turn and see if he needs help," the driver wrote, adding that vehicles in the first lane were travelling at around 90kmh.
The driver then turned back and encountered the elderly man again.
