KOTA BHARU: PKR should not issue an ultimatum to Umno over whether it wants to remain in the unity government or switch its support to Perikatan Nasional (PN), as the party itself relies on Umno’s strength, says PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.

He said PKR should be mindful of its position and the number of parliamentary and state seats it holds compared with Umno before issuing warning-like statements to its partner in government.

“PKR wants to warn Umno, but how many seats does it have? Umno has more seats than PKR. PKR should not act that way. It relies on Umno, on Umno’s strength,” he told reporters at PAS’s muktamar here last night.
