NEW DELHI: Activists Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan, along with CPI(ML) Liberation general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya and student leader Neha Bora, were detained near INA Market on Saturday while heading to the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) planned ‘Jantar Mantar 2.0’ protest.The detentions came amid a sweeping crackdown in the national capital ahead of the demonstration against chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the Election Commission’s special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.Earlier, Yadav, a psephologist and former AAP leader, and Bhushan, a lawyer and his former comrade from the Anna Andolan, were seen marching from Jor Bagh towards Dilli Haat-INA alongside AISA's Bora.
