Aboobacker Musliar, founder and Chancellor of Jamia Markazu Saquafathi Sunniya (Jamia Markaz), Kozhikode, Keralam, for the honorary doctorate at its 16th convocation on October 24 along with Sudhir Srivastava, founder, chairman and CEO, SS Innovations International Inc. Mr. Musliar’s recent speech advising against Muslim women sharing public spaces with unrelated men during religious celebrations had led to a controversy.
