Environment Canada issued the warning early Saturday evening as meteorologists tracked a storm moving east at 50 km/h. The federal agency said radar and weather station data suggested 25 to 40 millimetres of rain had fallen as the storm passed through.
The yellow warning ended just after 7:15 p.m.
Rain has been falling throughout much of the day in the region. The weather has led to a delay at Rogers Stadium, where popular K-pop group BTS is set to perform in front of a sold-out crowd.
In a post on Instagram , the venue urged fans who are in the stands to proceed to the Fan Plaza.
