The Yellareddypet police have stepped up their investigation into a cheating case against a Sircilla-based foreign-job agent, even as Rakshita, wife of 30-year-old D. Kishan, of Narayanpur village in Rajanna Sircilla district, seeks the repatriation of her husband, who is reportedly “stuck” in a war zone in Russia.
Rakshita on Monday lodged a complaint alleging that the agent cheated her husband on the promise of providing him a job in Russia.
Kishan’s family alleged that the agent collected ₹2.50 lakh from him and sent him to Russia recently, promising a job there.
However, Kishan reportedly ended up in a war zone and was allegedly made to fight, they said.
