A 76-year-old Yashar Party activist named Ilan Mans was attacked and hospitalized last week at Hemed Bridge while attempting to remove a sign that read, “Yigal Amir will be released,” according to reports from Hebrew media.The sign had been hung by a group protesting Amir's prison sentence, who were still present when Mans approached Hemed Bridge.When Mans began to take down the sign, he was confronted and attacked by the protesters who had put it up.
