YAMUNANAGAR: A 26-year-old woman died during treatment after she was allegedly attacked with a knife by a neighbour in Patri Mohalla of Jagadhri on Wednesday evening.The deceased, Priya, wife of Amandeep Singh, was allegedly attacked at around 5.45pm on Wednesday, while she was walking in the locality with her four-year-old son.The Yamunanagar police have registered a case of murder against the woman’s neighbour at Jagadhri City police station on Wednesday night.The FIR names Sajan, a resident of Patri Mohalla, as the accused.According to the statement of Priya's husband Amandeep Singh, Sajan allegedly approached her carrying a knife.
