WRAP invites community to ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes’ for domestic violence awareness

The Women’s Resource and Rape Assistance Program (WRAP) is hosting a 'Walk a Mile in Her Shoes' event in Jackson, Tennessee, to raise awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The community event invites men to participate in a walk to show solidarity with survivors.

JACKSON, Tenn. (WBBJ) - The Women’s Resource and Rape Assistance Program, also known as WRAP, is offering men a special way to stand alongside them in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
All men are invited to help raise awareness of the severity of domestic violence in the area by “walking a mile in her shoes.”
The event is Saturday, Oct. 10, at The AMP, located at the Jackson Walk on New Market Street.
