Workshop on preparing clay Ganesha idols on August 24
An environmental organization is hosting a workshop to teach students how to craft clay Ganesha idols. The initiative aims to promote eco-friendly festival practices by discouraging the use of Plaster of Paris and toxic paints.

Parisarakkagi Naavu, an environmental organisation, is organising a workshop on preparation of clay Ganesha idols at Mathrumandali Vidya Samsthe in Vontikoppal from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday.
More than 200 students of Matrumandali Vidya Samsthe will participate in the workshop. Eight skilled artisans will teach the students how to make Ganesha idols using clay, said Parashuraramegowda of Parisarakkagi Naavu in a statement here.
