Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University’s Centre for International Law and Allied Disciplines (CILAD) hosted a one-day international workshop titled “Beyond the Borders 2.0: Careers and Trends in International Law” in Visakhapatnam on Monday.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. D. Surya Prakash Rao delivered the welcome address, setting an academic tone focused on expanding the professional landscape of global jurisprudence.
Prof. R. Venkata Rao of International Law University, Goa, participated as the Chief Guest, while Y. Uma Shankar, Joint Secretary (Legal and Treaties) in the Ministry of External Affairs, served as the Guest of Honour.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Rao underscored the interplay between the Indian Constitution and international law within developing nations, encouraging students to actively engage with global legal discourse.
