A migrant worker killed another over a petty quarrel in Ghataprabha of Belagavi district on Saturday.

Arun Kumar Balishtar Chauhan, working at Priya Steels in PG Hunshyal village, stabbed Satiram alias Sitaram Chandradev, who bled to death.

Both hailed from Puranpur in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh.

They had got into an altercation about who ate how much during supper. The two were under the influence of alcohol, when the crime happened, the police said.
