Worker falls to death from second floor in Tudor, Mombasa

Crime scene Officials are investigating an incident where a 22-year-old casual construction worker died after accidentally falling from the second floor of a building under construction in Tudor Mwisho, Mombasa county.
The incident occurred on Friday at Mina Building, police said.
According to police, the worker, identified as Gift Yaa Mangi, was working at the construction site when he fell from the second floor.
He was immediately rushed to Coast General Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police officers visited the construction site and the hospital, where they confirmed the incident. The deceased sustained serious head injuries in the fall.
His body was moved to the Coast General Hospital mortuary, where it is being preserved pending an autopsy.
Police have launched investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatal workplace accident.
