Women’s Open: Dame Lydia Ko, Amelia Garvey finish within a shot of each other as Shiho Kuwaki wins title
Japanese golfer Shiho Kuwaki won the Women's Open in a playoff against Esther Henseleit after a competitive final round. New Zealanders Dame Lydia Ko and Amelia Garvey finished in 20th and 23rd place, respectively.

The Women’s Open told different stories with similar endings for the two Kiwis in the field at Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club in England.
Dame Lydia Ko and Amelia Garvey finished within a shot of each other in the final major of the year, with Ko in a tie for 20th at two-over-par for the week, and Garvey in a tie for 23rd, one shot back.
But they took different routes to get there.
