Women’s Andhra Premier League auction held
The Andhra Cricket Association has officially launched the Women’s Andhra Premier League (WAPL) with an inaugural player auction in Vijayawada. Four franchise teams have been formed, and the tournament is scheduled to take place in Mangalagiri from September 15 to 26.

Building on the success of the Andhra Premier League held a few days ago, the Andhra Cricket Association is preparing to introduce its first-ever franchise-based edition for the Women’s Andhra Premier League (WAPL).
According to a press release from the ACA, four franchises have already come forward to purchase players, and the Governing Council and ACA have conducted the players’ auction in Vijayawada on Tuesday.
The four franchise teams are Amaravati E Champions – Ushodaya Enterprises, Rayalaseema Zen Stars – Garrison Constructions, Vizag Fire Birds – Ora Motors, and Godavari Golden Eagles – NSR Industries respectively.
