LILLE, France — Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie built her reputation protecting her team’s net during the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. This summer, she extended that instinct beyond the pitch, joining 10 other footballers in a campaign for polio vaccination in Africa that aims to safeguard something larger: the health of an entire generation of children across the continent.
