Woman, two juveniles detained in connection with R.K. Nagar burglary cases

Police in R.K. Nagar have arrested a woman and detained two juveniles for their involvement in local burglary cases. Authorities recovered stolen gold jewellery and silver items following the investigation.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested and two juveniles were detained in connection with two burglary cases in R.K. Nagar. The police recovered 30.9 g of gold jewellery stolen from the houses.
The cases were registered based on complaints from Tajnisha, 34, of Vinoba Nagar Main Road in Tondiarpet, and Abdullah, 45, of Karunanidhi Nagar.
On July 26, Ms. Tajnisha found that 44 g of gold jewellery, silver articles, and ₹68,000 kept in a bureau at her house were missing. In the other case, Mr. Abdullah reported that 4.5 g of gold jewellery, including an earring, a coin and chain, was stolen from his house on August 6.
The R.K. Nagar police investigated the cases and found that the same 17-year-old juvenile was allegedly involved in both thefts.
