Woman pleads not guilty to arson over Dovestone moorland fire
A 20-year-old woman has pleaded not guilty to arson charges related to a large moorland fire near Dovestone Reservoir in Greater Manchester. She did, however, plead guilty to a separate charge of dangerous driving and will face trial for the arson in 2027.

Shania Care-Slede appeared via videolink and denied two charges of arson at Minshull Street Crown Court earlier but admitted a further charge of dangerous driving.
