A 23-year-old woman was killed in a road accident in Theni, on Saturday after the car in which she was travelling collided with a government bus.
According to police, Damayanthi, 23, a resident of Kallupatti in Marungapuri taluk in Tiruchi district was travelling with her family to Lord Saneeswarar Temple in Kuchanur. A government bus traveling from Cumbum to Madurai collided with the car and a tractor near Bodendrapuram junction on Theni bypass road. She died on the spot.
