Police in Migori County arrested a 32-year-old man after the body of a woman identified as his wife was reportedly discovered buried in a shallow grave near their home in Suna East Sub-County.
The body of Everline Odongo, a middle-aged woman, was discovered on September 28, 2026, at Kanyamdura Village in Suna Ngege Location after neighbours noticed freshly dug soil behind a toilet at the residence of her husband.
The discovery raised concern among villagers after Everline had reportedly not been seen since September 25, when she was allegedly seen quarrelling with her husband at about 4:30 pm.
