A 45-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday for the death of a 47-year-old woman, after the former assaulted the latter with a helmet last week at an apartment complex in Nanmangalam.
The Tambaram police said Manjula lived with her daughter at an apartment complex on Perumal Koil Street and had health issues. Last week, a dispute occurred between her and Viji, another resident of the complex, regarding the drying of clothes. During the argument, Viji reportedly assaulted Manjula with a helmet.
