Woman, child killed; 6 injured in road accident near Jand Phatak

ATTOCK - A mother and her young son were killed and six other people, including four women and two children got injured when a speeding van rammed into a car parked on the side of Pindi-Kohat Road near Jand Phatak in the limits of Jand police station.
According to Rescue 1122 and police, the accident occurred when a high-speed van coming from Kohat collided with a car that was parked on the roadside. As a result of the impact, 4-year-old Abubakar and his 25-year-old mother, who were traveling in the car, died on the spot.
Six other passengers, including five women, sustained injuries in the crash.
