Woman charged after more than €210k worth of heroin seized in Blackrock

    Liam Heylin A total of €210,000 worth of heroin was allegedly seized in Blackrock and now a woman facing a dealing charge in relation to the 1.5 kilos of the drug has been remanded in custody until October 22.

Solicitor Diane Hallahan said the accused woman was consenting to a four-week remand in custody while directions are sought from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Detective Garda James Byrd said it was alleged that 1.5 kilos of heroin with a street value of €210,000 was seized on September 2.
