The Whitefield police have booked a woman who allegedly assaulted a civic worker with a stone after he asked her not to throw a used tea cup on the roadside on Pattandur Agrahara Main Road on Friday.
The incident occurred on Kuvempu Road, where the woman, identified as Vaidehi, a private firm employee, was sitting with her male friend after having tea. The duo allegedly threw the used tea cup on the roadside.
When a civic worker asked them to put the cup in a dustbin instead of littering the road, Vaidehi allegedly lost her temper, abused him and hurled a stone at him. She allegedly made obscene hand gestures and misbehaved with people in the vicinity.
